Hi, I’m Pip Meo currently training to make the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Growing up I played soccer and represented New Zealand at age group and senior level. I then went on to play for 5 years at a top American University. Coming back to New Zealand I just missed out on the Beijing Olympics and decided I would throw myself in the deep end and get involved with triathlon.
Teaching myself to swim off YouTube I survived my first race by combining a freestyle panic backstroke technique. However, from there I found former Olympic and ITU Champion Coach Murray Healey. Qualifying for New Zealand Age groups 3 years in a row, winner of the 2011/2012 Contact Tri Series 25-29 age group and completing my first Ironman in 2013 my journey to Rio is coming together.
Promising my late Dad I would one day make it to the Olympics I put absolutely everything into every training session. With help of Aqualine, I am able to train with the best quality gear available in New Zealand.
